Nairn Golf Club (Highlands)

Nairn Golf Club is located on an elevated, rumpled piece of linksland on the Moray Firth coastline. The club was founded in 1887 and the course has been touched by many great architects such as Archie Simpson, Tom Morris, Ben Sayers and James Braid. When the sun is low in the sky and the shadows are long you cannot fail to appreciate the undulating bunker-pitted moonscapethat is Nairn. It’s a delightful links with fast, firm but narrow fairways, tricky greens and danger lurking from an errant shot. Nairn hosted the 1999 Walker Cup highlighting the esteem this highland venue is held.
